CRISTIANO RONALDO TRANSFER: AGENT EXPLAINS WHY REAL MADRID STAR WILL COMPLETE £88M MOVE TO JUVENTUS

Ronaldo could join the Serie A champions this week as the two clubs continue to thrash out a deal

Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus has progressed too far to collapse now, according to a leading football agent.

The Portuguese star could join the Serie A champions as soon as this week as the two clubs continue to negotiate his transfer fee.

Reports in both Italy and Spain have suggested the player has agreed terms with Juventus and that he is set to cost £88million.

And Beppe Bozzo, who represent former Juventus striker Alvaro Morata believes the deal will be completed.

“Jorge Mendes (Ronaldo’s agent) is an important manager who works 24/7, I am following every update with lot of excitement,” he told Tuttosport.

“Ronaldo’s Juventus move would be exceptional for Italian football. Serie A would welcome another Ballon d’Or winner.

“I think nobody can go back now.

“Of course patience is needed because Juventus will need to sell a few players while Real Madrid may need to sign two top players, not just one. One player is not enough to replace Ronaldo.”

Ronaldo crashed out of the World Cup when Portugal were beaten by Uruguay at the last-16 stage.

He is reportedly unhappy at Real Madrid and is seeking what would be the final lucrative move of his career.
