Neymar only moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for £200m last summer
Real Madrid have reportedly ramped up their interest in Neymar as they plot a stunning summer swoop.
The forward only joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona last summer in a £200million switch.
But he has grown frustrated in the French League and is keen to return to La Liga – and Real have launched a charm offensive.
According to Spanish newspaper AS , Neymar met Real Madrid new boy Vinicius Junior in a mansion in Rio de Janeiro on March 22.
The pair were not supposed to publicise the get-together but posted a selfie on social media, leading to the cover story that they were meeting as friends.
But Real Madrid reportedly wanted the pair to get to know each other before they pull on the white shirts in the future.
Neymar also met with a Real representative while he was recovering from foot surgery which means he could have played his last game for the Paris giants.
Should Real firm up their interest with an official bid, it is expected they will have to stump up £230m as PSG want to make a profit on their investment.
Last month, Vinicius Junior said he wants to play with Neymar at Real.
“I know I am still no one and I have done nothing so far,” he told The Guardian . “I want to become one of the best players in football and win a World Cup. I want to reach my goals and make my family proud.
“If God wants, Neymar and I will play together at Real Madrid. I would definitely be in favour of him moving to Madrid because it would be my big dream to play in the same side as Neymar.
“He is my idol in football. If had a chance to play with him, I would feel very happy.”
